- If mistakes are equal, the older candidate will be placed higher.
- If age is also equal, higher percentage in educational qualification will be considered.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree: From a recognized University or Institution.
- Punjabi Stenography: Must qualify Punjabi stenography test at the speed specified by the Board / Appointing Authority.
- Computer Course: 120 hours course with hands-on experience in PC/IT office productivity or DTP applications from a Govt. recognized (ISO 9001 certified) institution OR equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate of DOEACC.
- Punjabi Language: Must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject.
